The closest city to the resort is Richmond, just a short two minutes north. Cold Spring is just 8 minutes away by car. Downtown St. Cloud is a 30 minute drive.

Fishing

The Horseshoe Chain of Lakes has been called "the best-kept secret in central Minnesota."

Fish species in the lakes include walleye, muskie, northern pike, bass, crappie, bluegill, and channel catfish and many of these are stocked.

The Chain has over 2,500 acres in its 14 lakes, all of which are accessible by boat.

Local Sports

Remember to bring your golf clubs as we are just minutes away from Rich-Spring Golf Club and River Oaks Golf Club.

Also a short drive away are horseback riding, baseball fields, public playgrounds, and even bowling.

Shopping

For those who enjoy shopping, we can point you in the direction of shopping malls, antique shops, and specialty shops.

The Albertville Premium Outlets are only a 53 minute drive. Just a little further is Cabela's in Rogers.

If you are up for a little longer drive, The Mall of America is a 1.5 hours away. This is a top tourist destination for Minnesota and is one of the largest malls in America, featuring an indoor amusement park and an underwater aquarium.

Dining

Richmond has several restaurants to from. Enjoy family style dining at Jill's Cafe or if you are looking for a drink, try Jerry's Pub and Grille . You can grab a quick bite and a root beer float at the A & W or even a pizza.

If you head down the road to Cold Spring, be sure to check out the local favorite Cold Spring Bakery for donuts, breads, and other treats. There are many other restaurants to choose from here as well.
